- To + infinitive:

– Meaning: “to + infinitive” : để làm gì.
– Usage: “to + infinitive” : dùng để chỉ mục đích
– Notes:
+ Ngoài “to + infinitive” ra ta còn có thể dùng “ inorder / soas + infinitive”
Ex: I try to study well to please/ in order to please/ so as to pleasemy parents.
+ Nếu câu ở thể phủ định thì ta thêm “not” trước “to”.
Ex: I try to study well not to please/ in order not to please/ so as not to pleasemy parents.
- Wh– questions:
Ex: I often listen to music whenever I have free time.
