So sánh với “like”, “the same as” và “different from”
1/- Like (prep) + n/pron: giống như
Ex: You should have done it like this.
2/- As (conj) + a clause: giống như
Ex: You should have done it as I showed you.
3/- As (prep) + n: khi “as” là giới từ thì sau nó cũng là một danh từ. Trong trường hợp này nó dùng để diễn tả ý nghĩa có thật trong khi “like” diễn tả ý nghĩa không thật.
Ex: During the war this hotel was used as a hospital.
